About Feeding Frenzy

Feeding Frenzy Sportfishing was founded to connect anglers with the incredible fishing opportunities that Northern California has to offer. From the depths of the Pacific Ocean chasing tuna to the shallow riffles of the rivers chasing salmon, and catching halibut, striped bass, and rockfish somewhere in between, our trips are designed for both excitement and reward.

We operate year-round, shifting with the seasons to put you on the fish that make this region famous. Whether you’re after a bucket-list catch or a day on the water with family and friends, our mission is the same: provide a safe, professional, and unforgettable sportfishing experience.

About Our CAPTAIN

Captain Rickey Acosta has been running Feeding Frenzy Sportfishing since 2018, but his roots on the water go back much further. A Sacramento native, Rickey has spent countless days on the rivers, the Delta, the Bay, and the Pacific coast, learning how fish move with the tides and seasons, with a proven track record of catching even in the toughest conditions.
