River Species

Season: October - April

Sturgeon

Port: Sacramento, CA & Pittsburg, CA

Great for: Thrill seekers looking to catch the biggest fresh water fish in North America. 

Things to know: catch and release only per state regulations; powerful fish—expect long battles and acrobatic jumps. We sit on the anchor to catch these fish.

Season: July-October

SALMON

Port: Sacramento, Feather, & Mokolumne Rivers

Great for: Anglers chasing a hard-fighting,delicious table-fare fish; all skill levels welcome. Rivers often offer beautiful views and other wildlife. 

Things to know: Season dates & regulations vary each year. We catch Salmon trolling or back-bouncing lures & drifting roe.

Season: March–June, September–November

Striper

Port: California Delta, Sacramento & Feather Rivers

Great for: beginners to experienced anglers; this is an action packed fishery with quality and quantity. 
Things to know: Spring and Fall runs, trolling, casting lures, drifting live bait is how we catch them. great table fare – FISH TACOS!

OCEAN/ BAY Species

Season: May-August

Halibut

Port: Richmond, CA

Great for: All skill levels; anglers looking to head home with delicious Halibut. Striped Bass are often caught as well on our Halibut Charters. 


Things to know: beautiful views of San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz, Angel Island, & the Golden Gate Bridge. Anglers will be drifting live bait on these charters.

SALMON

Port: San Francisco Bay Area & Coastal Ports

Great for: Anglers chasing a hard-fighting, premium food fish; trolling or back-bouncing.
Things to know: Highly seasonal with tight regulations; we keep only legal, hatchery/retention-eligible fish.

ROCKFISH/

LINGCOD

Port: Richmond, CA 

Great for: any skill levels. Anglers looking for steady action


Things to know: Depth/area regs vary by season; mixed-bag variety; firm, tasty fillets.

Season: June-September

Sharks

Port: Richmond, CA 

Great for: any skill levels. Anglers looking for FAST paced action. This is a great trip to introduce anglers to fishing. 

Things to know: anchor fishing. Multiple hook ups are common. Primarily Leopard Sharks, several species caught each trip.

TUNA

Port: Richmond, CA 

Great for: the hardcore fisherman! High risk high reward. Targeting some of the hardest fighting fish in the ocean. 

Things to know: Albacore Tuna or Bluefin Tuna. These trips are weather dependent. We will target what we have the best odds of catching.
